The room was extremely spacious, it had a shower and bath sheets. We had a private bathroom. The location seemed absolutely perfect in the jungle. The hotel was fairly clean with gentle stuff❤

Loved climate control, an individual safe, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels in the room. The beds were nice, the bathroom was nice as expected. This accommodation had a central setting close to a major supermarket in Puerto Viejo.

Our stay at Bambutel Cocles was definitely worth the money. The room was spacious, comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great. The hotel's location in the jungle was a unique experience, with wildlife sightings like sloths, toucans, and iguanas right on the hotel grounds. The staff were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to assist us, even arranging a 5AM taxi for us. The breakfast options were delicious and the availability of bikes for rent right on the premises was convenient. The nearby Cocles beach was just a short 15-minute walk away. a highly recommended stay.

The only thing that could make breakfast better at Bambutel Cocles is to include more than one piece of bread without an additional charge.

We had an amazing time at Bambutel in Puerto Viejo. The spacious and peaceful surroundings made for a perfect jungle getaway. The friendly owners and staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Though the hotel is a bit far from restaurants, the abundance of affordable tuk tuks made it easy to get around. We were pleasantly surprised by the hot water in our room and enjoyed the value for money that this hotel offered. Not to mention, we got to see wildlife like sloths, toucans, and iguanas right on the hotel grounds. The breakfast had a good variety of options, and there was a supermarket within a 10-minute walk. The value for money at this hotel was excellent, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect, surrounded by nature and just a short walk to the beautiful Cocles beach. The staff treated us very well, despite the language barrier, and even helped us arrange an early morning taxi.

I had a wonderful stay at Bambutel Cocles. The outdoor kitchen was a great addition, allowing me to cook and enjoy meals in the beautiful surroundings. The pool was refreshing and the surrounding nature was breathtaking. Plus, the big comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep.
